Lighting Test

The lighting looked promising.

As I had hoped, the speedlights in the booths were bright enough to create a spot through the curtains, giving the illusion that students were welding in them.

As for the student, I wasn't too happy with the way he was lit. Looked a bit artificial.

It would be more natural if he was illuminated solely by the lights in the booths instead.

The last problem is the background. Unlike the earlier automotive shot, there was no value in showing the background.
