Lighting
the Set
For
this particular shot, I kept things as simple
as possible.
Instead
of mains powered strobes, I placed battery operated
speedlights in three of the welding booths. The
idea behind this is to simulate students welding
in the booths.
As
for the student, I had him standing outside the
booths, as though he was about to enter one of
them. A small strobe fitted with a 10° honeycomb
was directed at him.
